Easy pizza dough recipe

Easy pizza dough recipe

A big pizza can be the highlight of the evening. But it can be even better if it is home made. And with this recipe I am about to share with you, you can not go wrong.
I actually prefer to make my own pizza rather than ordering in. I know exactly what is on it and I can customize my topping as much as I like without any extra charges.
Plus you feel quite happy with your accomplishment while eating it too.
So here it is. My easy pizza dough recipe.

2,5 dl water
30 grams of yeast
5-6 dl flour
4-5 tbs olive oil

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit.
Heat the water in a small bowl. Do not boil. Dissolve the yeast in the water until completely dissolved.
In a separate bowl mix flour, the yeast mixture and 4 tbs of oil. Mix until completely blended.
Let rest in the bowl under a kitchen towel for approximately one hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
After resting, take the dough out of the bowl and kneed it for a minute. Lightly grease the tray with olive oil and roll out the dough on a pizza oven tray or any type of oven proof tray you have available.
Slightly grease the surface of the pizza dough before adding your ingredients. That will make the crust more crispy.
Add any topping you like. I usually go with a base of tomato pure, champions pepperoni and a whole lot of grated cheese.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted completely. Make sure you turn on the grill function on your oven during the last couple of minutes to get the edges nice and golden.

What is your favorite pizza topping?
